The Beach House is a lovingly converted 200 year old fisherman’s cottage set high on the cliff above Newquay harbour. As you take your morning coffee, you can enjoy the magnificent views across the internationally famous surf beach and four other amazing bays. If the surf looks fantastic, you can grab your board and be in the water in less than 10 minutes. Or you can just sit in the warmth and comfort of the superbly appointed cottage and watch the surfers, the seals in the harbour and, if you’re lucky, the dolphins in the bay.

At night, you can watch the twinkling lights along the Atlantic Highway leading to Watergate Bay, home of Jamie Oliver’s new Fifteen Restaurant.

This is a wonderful cottage for all seasons. In the summer, it is light, cool and airy. When you return hot and tired after a long day’s activities, you can clean off and cool down in the Mediterranean style wet room with its large drench head shower before relaxing on the sun terrace. In the winter, the cottage wraps its warm arms around you. Read a book from our eclectic selection, doze in front of the wood-burning stove or pamper yourself with a soak in the double-ended bath. In spring and autumn, you may get the best of both worlds as the weather changes. Sunbathe in comfort on the sheltered terrace today, light the stove and curl up in front of it tomorrow.

As well as the glorious beaches and the harbour, there are restaurants, pubs and shops within walking distance. And further afield, the many delights of North Cornwall await you.
