Portishead Town Band is one of the most successful brass bands in the West Country.

It consists of 28 talented and experienced musicians from the Bristol and North Somerset area who meet to rehearse and socialise twice weekly.

The Band performs it's varied mix of music at Concerts, Community Events and Engagements for Sponsors in the local area.

It also competes regularly in competitions across the country and in recent times has collected an enviable list of trophies and prizes from some of the country's top events.  It has competed several times at the National Finals and is currently ranked as one of the top bands in the 1st Section of the national gradings.
